DRAFT GOLD CROWN INFO FROM 22/23
Learning the fundamentals of the game and individual skill
development is the most important aspect of our youth program.
We want our players to have fun, develop a strong work ethic, learn, improve and create an unquestionable love for the game.

Our Feeder Program is an extension of our High School Program
-
Season practices begin in November. Games begin in December. Season ends in late February/early March.

Practices will be at Rocky Heights Middle School or Rock Canyon High School.

Our RCHS basketball staff conducts tryouts, picks the teams, assigns the coaches and oversees the development of our future Jags.

SEASON DATES & INFO:
December 10- March 12
It is our goal to field 2 teams at each grade level 5-8 (one team will play in the GOLD Division and one in the SILVER Division).

12-game guarantee (10-regular season games & 2-postseason games)

Teams advancing in playoffs could play 13-15 games

Doubleheader format

Games will be played at the Gold Crown Field House and select sites around the Denver Metro Area with NO Entry Fees

Teams play every other weekend (See below for more details)
TOURNAMENTS- All teams will play 3 tournaments.
VETERAN’S DAY TIP-OFF TOURNAMENT - NOVEMBER 10 - 13, 2022
ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOOPS CLASSIC - November 17 - 20, 2022
HOLIDAY BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT - December 1 - 4, 2022
FEES - $620 total
Rock Canyon $400 Includes -Tournament Fees for 3 Tournaments, practice/gym time and coaches, as well as uniform (jersey and shorts), shooter shirt, pictures and access to a number of RC JAGS varsity home games.
Gold Crown $220 per player covers officiating, gym usage, certified trainer on site and general insurance coverage. Paid directly to Gold Crown Foundation.
